The Landmark London opens its rebuilt spa this month

The Landmark London in Marylebone is opening a fully rebuilt 710 square metre spa this July, following a reported £4 million investment. The new thermal suite is the substance behind it: a 34C vitality pool with hydrotherapy jets, an aromatic steam room, a Finnish sauna, an ice fountain and heated marble loungers, plus five treatment rooms and a 24-hour gym. A new British wellness hotel brand, The Elysium Collection, launches

A new hospitality brand called The Elysium Collection launched in June, built specifically around relaxed, wellness-led escapes rather than glossy city hotels. Its first property is Elysium St Mawes on the Cornish harbourfront, a conversion of the historic Ship and Castle Hotel due to open this autumn, with treatments run in partnership with TEMPLESPA and further sites planned in Surrey and the Lake District through 2027. Sharrow Bay’s Lake District revival moves closer

Sharrow Bay, the Ullswater country-house hotel that helped define the British house-party stay before it closed, has had restoration plans approved and is being brought back by Ciel Hotels, with work due to begin in spring 2026. The reason it is on this list is the new spa in the plans: a glazed colonnade with a sauna, an outdoor plunge pool and treatment rooms, set right on the lakeshore.
